HOW TO SPA
The purpose of this page is to familiarize you with La Look.
Are there medical benefits to visiting La Look?
The number one guaranteed benefit of visiting La Look is your immersion in a relaxing, stress reducing environment! Stress reduction is one of the major contributors to good health.
How early should I arrive for my Spa treatment?
Arrive a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes prior to your first appointment, to allow yourself ample time to change, put personal belongings in a locker and familiarize yourself with our facility. We recommend you begin to relax by using the sauna or steam before your appointment.
What do I need to bring?
Martha's provides robes & slippers to wear between treatments, and a locker for your personal belongings. Bring a bathing suit if you plan to steam or book any water therapy treatments.
Do I have to disrobe entirely for my Spa massage?
Undergarments are not necessary. However, if you prefer, undergarments or a bathing suit may be worn. Keep in mind, therapists are trained to drape towels or sheets discreetly over any areas of your body not involved in the treatment and to protect your privacy at all times.
Should I take my jewelry off?
Please do not bring valuables to the Spa. La Look is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Should I alert someone if I have any physical ailments, disabilities or allergies?
Yes, please notify the Spa scheduler when booking your appointments.
Should I avoid the Spa if I'm pregnant?
Not at all, though you should notify the Spa scheduler. You will want to avoid services using deep pressure and heat.
What is the gratuity policy?
In appreciation for outstanding service, gratuities may be given to the staff at your discretion. With custom day packages and groups of 3 or more, a 15 percent gratuity will be added to all services.
