TRX Suspension Trainer This past year, Martha’s been using a new workout called TRX® Suspension Training®. TRX® is new category of exercise for people of all abilities that leverages one’s own body-weight & gravity to develop strength, balance, flexibility & joint stability. Recently, Martha has begun to include TRX® within her personal train-ing sessions. TRX® is appropriate for everyone, whether in or out of shape, & here’s why: When working out with TRX, there’s complete control over the amount of bodyweight resis-tance, the angle in which one places his/her body, & stability by foot placement. TRX Suspension Trainer® is different from other types of resistance training because traditional weight training generally works one muscle at a time which is more likely to lead to overuse injuries & muscular imbal-ances, as well as potentially limiting strength & movement gains.
